The former English international had not played since late April when he was suspended following a series of off-field breaches.
It is believed the club wanted Cipriani to sign an updated contract with behavioural clauses.
The Rebels issued a statement saying Cipriani had returned to training and was available for selection.
But they made no further comment.
"Both parties have agreed that no further public comment will be made and confidentiality will be respected," the statement said.
The club is desperate to win its final two remaining matches, against the Brumbies in Canberra and the Force at home, and avoid the wooden spoon in its debut season.
