Eastwood continued their stellar start to the season, with a 23-11 victory over Randwick on Saturday at T.G. Millner Field .

The Woodies kept their unbeaten record alive in the 2011 Shute Shield season, in torrential playing conditions.

Randwick lead early through penalties, but the home side snatched the lead midway through the first half with a try to Tim Bennetts.

Fullback Ben Batger came off with a back injury just before halftime which left the kicking duties up to number 10 Pierre Hola.

The injury woes continued for the team in blue and white with dynamic winger Cameron Mitchell succumbing to a knee problem.

Bennetts got his double early in the second, and despite being down by 14 the Wicks kept the pressure on with Lai Vatadroka crossing minutes later.

But the home side prevailed, with Hola's boot adding three more points to claim their third win of the season.

Eastwood 23 (Tim Bennetts 2 tries; Pierre Hola con, 2 pens, Ben Batger 1 con, 1 pen)
